Sierra Wolfcale

Sierra Wolfcale

Sierra Wolfcale, a freshman at Coldwater High School, is the daughter of Deanna and Jim Wolfcale. Although she is not on the Coldwater softball team, she enjoys playing in her free time. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and drawing as well. Her two favorite subjects in school include algebra and biology. The best part about being a Cardinal, according to Wolfcale, is being able to show her Cardinal pride and participating in fun Cardinal activities. After high school, Wolfcale plans to go to college for either early childhood education or culinary arts.

Brad Steel

Brad Steel

Brad Steel, a freshman at CHS, is the son of Bob and Nichole Steel. Besides playing freshman football, Steel also participates in the winter sport of basketball. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies and spending time with his friends. Steel, as a freshman, is in Algebra 2, which also happens to be his favorite class. As a Cardinal, he enjoys attending games and cheering in the student section. After high school, Steel plans to attend college and become an engineer.

Emilee Dunny

Emilee Dunny

Emilie Dunny is a sophomore at CHS and is the daughter of Keith and Kathy Dunny. Besides participating in tennis in the spring, Dunny also is a member of concert band, marching band, and Spanish Club. In her free time, she rides horses, travels and loves to spend time with her friends. Dunny’s favorite class is Spanish. The best part of being a Cardinal, according to Dunny, is that she is able to attend a school that is full of great people with a lot of fun school activities. After high school, Dunny plans to go to college to study nursing.

Tyler DeNudt

Tyler DeNudt

Tyler DeNudt is currently a sophomore at Coldwater High School. He is the son of James and Lisa DeNudt. Currently DeNudt is not involved in any sports, but in the fall he participates on the Coldwater football team. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his friends. In school his favorite subject is chemistry. DeNudt says the best part about being a Cardinal is representing the school in the sports here at CHS. After college, DeNudt plans to attend college and study to become a neurochemist.

Michaela Gillette

Michaela Gillette

Junior Michaela Gillette is the daughter of Doug and Renee Gillette.  She participates in volleyball, basketball, and softball.  In her free time she loves to practice her different sports, and her favorite subject in school is math. Michaela enjoys being part of the “Cardinal Kingdom” and just being involved in the school life.  She is planning to attend college aft high school to become a nurse practitioner.

 

Jared Ward

Jared Ward

Jared Ward, the son of Mark and Holli Ward, is the junior student of the month.  He is involved in National Honor Society and the CHS band.  He enjoys volunteering during the summer at Binder Park Zoo.  In his spare time, Jared enjoys playing basketball with friends and relaxing.  His favorite subject is history.  His favorite part of being a Cardinal is the school spirit and loyalty shown to our athletic teams.  He plans to pursue a career in biology or zoology.

Morgan Klein

Morgan Klein

Morgan Klein, a senior at Coldwater High School, is the daughter of Kenn and Julie Klein. Besides being the varsity volleyball captain and an active participant of the soccer team, Klein is also the vice president for the class of 2014, the interact vice president, an NHS officer member and a youth in government delegate. In her free time, Klein enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. In school however, her favorite class is calculus because it’s a fun class. The best part about being a Cardinal according to Klein, is showing school spirit at sporting events and other school activities. After high school, Klein plans to attend college to get a degree in nursing and then becoming a physician’s assistant.

Brett Welke

Brett Welke

Brett Welke, is currently in his senior year of Coldwater High School and is the son of Scott Welke and Ricsie Clayman. Besides attending school, Welke also holds a job at Tuckey Motorsports and has been employed there for over two years. Welke enjoys winter activities such as snowmobiling and snowboarding. His favorite subject here at CHS is government. The best part of being a Cardinal, according to Welke, is being able to see all of the great people that also attend CHS. Following high school, Welke plans to further his education at Grand Valley State University and to get a job working in the stock market.
